Jon Bresler was once a lawyer, following in his famous father's footsteps, "but I knew something far more exciting was awaiting." That something was a 120 year-old soap factory in Portugal that once produced "commoners' soap," but, now, makes some of the most exquisite fragrance-based products in the world under the brand Claus Porto. Bresler's love of scents and luxury offerings produced with European excellence drew him to this brave new world and defines the attention to detail and reverence for tradition that is Claus Porto's trademark. Completely eco-friendly and 100% biodegradable, the soaps are made the same way they were when the factory first opened its doors. The beautiful packaging not only carries the original design, but utilizes the identical techniques and papers used to create it. This generations-old formula for quality infuses all of Claus Porto's products, a luxurious homage to Jon's simplest and most essential indulgence, "a bar of soap."
