The basic accordion pleated paper file tote is dressed up with a black or white patent vinyl hardcover, elegantly topped with gold-toned metal hardware and patent handles, and detailed with a scrollwork-printed paper border on the interior.
Design is at the core of the russell+hazel philosophy. russell+hazel founder Chris Plantan and her four co-founders envisioned organizational office and school supplies that would be not only functional but fashionable. Plantan’s inspiration grew from her work as an architect, where she saw the importance of visually interesting and stylish client presentation binders, which she began to create on her own. She recruited friends and acquaintances to realize her ideas, and russell+hazel was launched in 2002, with expertise in architecture, retail merchandising, and graphic design.
