Graphic Image has been producing high-quality, impeccably-designed leather goods since 1969. Tom Glazer, president and owner of the company, admits to being a little surprised himself that Graphic Image is not only surviving but thriving in an era when everyone seems to be keeping records on portable devices or computers. Now, three decades after his father started the business, Glazer is producing low-tech products that seem to be the hot new things, using premium leathers from the finest tanneries around the world, and putting it all together—the cutting, gluing, and embossing—by hand at their Melville, New York, facility.
